On March 22, three churches - Bright Hope Laurel United Methodist Church, Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and Mars Hill United Methodist Church gathered to celebrate the arrival of spring with a pizza and game night.

Our Fellowship Luncheons are a monthly tradition being held on the third Sunday of each month. All are welcome to join us.

The United Methodist Women, also known as United Women in Faith, will host its Annual Valentine’s Day Luncheon on February 14 at 11:45 am in the church fellowship hall. All ladies are welcome to attend.

As always the turn of a new year brings reflection and celebration for what has been accomplished through our witness and ministry as Mars Hill United Methodist Church. It’s truly amazing to consider how much we’ve done together!

Lucy Butterworth, our former Handbell Choir Director, retired in November after four decades of faithful witness and ministry.

Thank you to all who joined us to celebrate the Advent and Christmas Season - from Decorating in November through Epiphany Sunday in January.

On All Saints Sunday, our congregation honored Lucy Butterworth for four decades of ministry and witness in church handbell choirs, including founding and leading the handbell choir at Mars Hill United Methodist Church.

Together with our sister church, Bright Hope Laurel, we hosted an evening of Pumpkin Carving, Games and a Community Potluck Dinner on Saturday, October 15. We’re grateful for all who joined in the fun!

On September 24, 2022, members of our congregation and community participated in the annual Blue Ride Pride Festival and Welcome Procession.
