On All Saints Sunday, our congregation honored Lucy Butterworth for four decades of ministry and witness in church handbell choirs, including founding and leading the handbell choir at Mars Hill United Methodist Church.

Together with our sister church, Bright Hope Laurel, we hosted an evening of Pumpkin Carving, Games and a Community Potluck Dinner on Saturday, October 15. We’re grateful for all who joined in the fun!

On September 24, 2022, members of our congregation and community participated in the annual Blue Ride Pride Festival and Welcome Procession.

On October 1, 2020, we hosted a Community Blessing of the Animals in collaboration with our sister Church Bright Hope Laurel.

In collaboration and our sister church, we will host an evening of Pumpkin Carving, Games & a Community Hot Dog Supper on October 21 at 4 pm.

Getting Out to Vote highlighting the midterm election in November will highlight the United Methodist Women’s Meeting on Tuesday October 4, beginning at noon.
