Each Christmas, our church adopts families at Mars Hill Elementary School - here’s how you can help make a Madison County family’s holiday season a little brighter.

In preparation for another successful school year, the teachers at Mars Hill United Methodist Church Preschool began a playground toy drive. Our church showed generosity by purchasing items form their wishlist and the school has expressed their gratitude.

WIth classes resuming across the county this month, we’re inviting you to participate in our annual school supply drive.

It’s almost time for a new school year and the preschool welcomes donations for new playground toys.

To support the hopes and dreams of the Mt. Olive and Long Ridge Community for maintaining and improving the Mount Olive Cemetery, we have named the Mt. Olive Cemetery our July Mission of the Month.

Our Mission of the Month is My Sister’s Place – You can bring clothing for Men, Women, or Children to the church, and they will be taken to My Sister’s Place. You may also provide financial support.

A new Grief Support Group is coming to Mars Hill, N.C. Beginning Wednesday, May 17 at 6 pm, the Grief Support Group will meet at Mars Hill United Methodist Church.

The upcoming connection with our retirement home neighbors is being rescheduled and an announcement will be made at a later date.
